Menoray Castle, its park, its woods and its land are located in the town of Locmalo. They bear witness to the evolution of a manor from the 15th century until today: dovecote and fishpond from the 16th, chapel and castle from the 17th, the latter being extended to the 18th and 19th, model farm from the end of the 19th. These are also landscapes which have been shaped for functional, ornamental but also symbolic and social purposes typical of the manors of the old regime. Many periods of occupation reflect periods of crisis or peace in local Breton history. It is protected as a Historic Monument and is currently the subject of a major restoration campaign.
