On the occasion of Losar, the Tibetan New Year, which celebrates the transition to the Dragon Wood year in 2024, the Drukpa Plouray Buddhist Center is organizing an open day this Sunday. Visits to the various sacred monuments, including the Stupa, the Prayer Wheel, the Temple and the statue of Bairo Rinpoche inaugurated this summer in the presence of Gyalwang Drukpa, spiritual leader of the Drukpa Lineage, will be organized from 10 a.m. A game will be offered to children so that they can follow the visit in a fun way. Following your visit, you will be offered tea and khapsés, traditional Tibetan cakes made especially for Losar. At 3:30 p.m., Drubpon Ngawang Tenzin Pagsam Yongdu, spiritual director of the Buddhist Center, will host a public lecture at the Temple. We hope that many of you will join us for this joyful and festive day.
