Ready to get the whole family out walking? Here are our top 3 family hikes, with easy trails (I promise, even the little ones won't get lost!). Laughter and discovery guaranteed for young and old!

The Paol ar Wenn and San Samuel circuits in Le Saint

Start at the church square and head for the pretty fountain of Saint-Samuel, set in a wooded setting.

You then have the option of doing a 1.6 km or 3 km loop. At the end of the circuit, stop off at the playground! For the record, Paol ar Wenn was a Breton bard born not far from here, in Langonnet.

Hent ar Pennglaouig in Lanvénégen

This is the first trail to be approved by the French Hiking Federation as "Un chemin une école".

The 3km loop starts from the church square and continues towards the fountain and calvary of Saint-Conogan. The walk then leads through woodland to the wetland area, which is lined with decking.

Interpretation panels relating to the flora and fauna have been installed along the route. A fun way to learn a little more about your surroundings. If you'd like to extend your walk, there's another loop starting from the church.

The circle of Saint-Vincent at Persquen

The walk starts in the village of Pénéty, where you'll find a 17th-century chapel with a devotional fountain.

You then follow paths through the countryside, crossing streams in the woods. At the end of the route, you'll come across the commune's second chapel, dedicated to Saint-Vincent. The enclosure containing the small cemetery adjoining the building still exists, as does the fountain.
