The Château du Coscro in Lignol is the work of a family of 17th century parliamentarians, the Lantivys. It is a classic-style residence with a raised central pavilion built in front of the building. It houses a remarkable stone staircase. The well-ordered facade and the triangular pedimented dormers of this large, regular-style construction give it a proud appearance. The stables surrounding the main courtyard and the two identical pavilions linked by a large masonry moat further add to the elegance of the place. The whole responds to the concern for symmetry and perspectives from a central axis and access paths that showcase the bocage and landscaped environment. The current owner has been restoring, with passion, for more than 25 years this manor built in a 20 hectare park. Occasional activities are provided by the gardener of the estate on the themes of gardening (pruning and grafting of fruit trees, protection of the orchard, activities around the vegetable garden conducted according to organic methods ...) and on the discovery of nature (recognition of plants present on the site and their various uses, discovery of birds, insects, etc.). In May-June-September-October, open every day by appointment only. For groups of more than 10 people, reservations at 06 82 22 12 59
