The Saint-Fiacre chapel in Le Faouët was built between 1450 and 1480 in the flamboyant Gothic style. It probably succeeded an older building.

It has a bell tower with a balcony flanked by two turrets. The one on the right houses the staircase which gives access to the bell tower. Superbly decorated with buttresses, niches, coats of arms and pinnacles, it recalls the Church of Our Lady of Kernascléden. The asymmetry of the whole is particularly surprising. The Bouttevilles, lords of Faouët who strongly marked the city between 1340 and 1550 were the patrons for its construction. You have to go inside the building to admire the most remarkable element of the place: a splendid polychrome wooden rood screen. To date, it is one of the most beautiful polychrome rood screens in Brittany. The chapel also has a very fine set of 16th century stained glass windows illustrating the Passion, the life of Saint John the Baptist, a Tree of Jesse and the life of Saint Fiacre. At 500 meters, the Saint-Fiacre fountain consists of two basins connected by a seven-meter stone channel. Its architecture goes beyond that of a traditional fountain. It may be the remains of a medical facility dating back to the Middle Ages. Its water is traditionally known to cure skin diseases.
