Now in its 4th year, this fledgling festival has nothing to envy the more famous events...

The pardon at Kernascléden on 15 August 2025
Pardons are traditional Breton festivals. The patron saint of a church or chapel is celebrated... Mass and the procession are the high points of the day. Religious ceremonies are often followed by a secular festival.
Important moments in the lives of parishioners until the middle of the 20th century, these ceremonies are still very popular today.
In Kernascléden, the pardon of Notre-Dame takes place on 15 August. This is an opportunity for some of the locals to dress up in traditional Breton costume. The procession leaves the beautiful 15th-century church and makes its way to the fountain to the rhythm of hymns.
You are at the heart of Breton culture, a culture that is still very much alive today.
This is the perfect time to take some holiday snaps. The costumed parishioners kindly pose for you to immortalise your stay. It's a great source of pride to wear Breton costume!
Other pardons take place in the Pays du Roi Morvan: at Saint-Fiacre and Saint-Barbe in Le Faouët, Crénénan in Ploërdut, Longueville in Locmalo... and many more to be found in thetourist officediary.

The andouille festival in Guémené-sur-Scorff on 24 August 2025
A nationally-renownedgastronomic speciality, the real andouille sausage from Guémené deserves a festival! The event takes place every year on the 2nd Sunday after 15 August.
It starts with the pardon of Notre-Dame de la Fosse and its procession. Breton costumes are paraded alongside those of the brotherhoods invited for this special day. This is the religious part of the festival.
Then it's time for the secular part!
You sit down to a plate ofhome-made andouille sausage served with mashed potatoes. Then it's off to the producers' stalls at the local market, where you can applaud the Celtic circles, bagads and groups of singers performing on the podiums. There's dancing at the fest-deiz and... theinduction of the new goustiers into the Guémené andouille brotherhood!
A huge turnout to celebrate the star of Breton charcuterie! Thousands of visitors flocked to the streets of Guémené-sur-Scorff this weekend. Some of them arrive in camper vans the day before! Even at the height of their splendour, the Rohan-Guémené family did not organise such major festivals!
For gourmets, lovers of Breton culture and those who appreciate the warm atmosphere of a gastronomic festival, the Andouille Festival is a must!

Les Sonneurs in Gourin from 5 to 7 September 2025
Since 1956, the best Breton pipers have been competing in Gourin for the coveted titles awarded by their peers.
Although this event currently takes place on the Tronjoly estate, it originated during the pardon of Saint-Hervé, the patron saint of bards and ringers.
Traditionally, ringers go in pairs: one to play the biniou and the other to play the bombarde. As you can imagine, this can be heard from afar! It's the breath of Brittany that resonates in the open-air theatre of the Château de Tronjoly!
The musicians give their best performances.
Les Sonneurs is Brittany's traditional dance and music championship, which specialists and fans of Breton traditions look forward to all year round. It's also the ideal place toexperience Breton culture in total immersion!
