Beautiful white-water rivers
In the wild, unspoilt valleys of the Pays du Roi Morvan, chaos and currents offer magnificent fishing spots.
If you're looking for a more sporting way to cast or fly fish, you'll love the 1st category courses on the Scorff between Guémené-sur-Scorff and Langoëlan, as well as on theEllé near Le Faouët. The fario trout is one of the most sought-after species.
You'll also find some great catches around Gourin in the waters of theInam or at Le Croisty in those of theAër.
Easily accessible lakes
The ponds at Pontigou in Langonnet,Er Lann Vras in Plouray, Le Dordu in Langoëlan, or Tronjoly and Pont Ar Len in Gourin are perfect for enjoying the peace and quiet and introducing youngsters to fishing. If, because of a lack of patience, the children are unruly and won't stop fidgeting like maggots, don't hang them on the end of your hooks! Instead, give them a chance to let off steam in the play areas.
A family trail in Priziac
The Lac du Bel Air in Priziac has been awarded the Parcours Famille label. It offers comfortable and safe fishing for all. Four pontoons, including one for people with reduced mobility, have been built to provide easy access to the banks of the lake.
There's also a whole range of activities for the whole family: a small beach for swimming, games for children and activities offered by the water sports centre. Everything here invites you to relax... even the picnic tables.
Lac du Bel Air is also a paradise for float tube fishing enthusiasts, who will find it a great place for adventure. The lake is also accessible by motorboat.
