Certify your accommodation to reassure customers
Owners of furnished accommodation and bed and breakfast establishments, there are several options for certifying your accommodation
Classification of furnished tourist accommodation
The "meublé de tourisme" classification is a national voluntary scheme for qualifying seasonal lets. It is awarded following an inspection visit to your property by an accredited body or one certified by a national certification body. The criteria and procedures are set out in the Order of 2 August 2010.
Why should I classify my furnished accommodation?
The quality of your accommodation is the key to a successful holiday. Classification is your assurance that the services you offer correspond to a certain level of quality and are tailored to your customers' expectations. For them, it is a set of benchmarks that reassures them about the service they are buying.
What are the advantages of ranking?
- Recognition of quality: in an often undifferentiated market, classified furnished accommodation stands out because of the guarantees it offers tenants.
- Tax advantages: rental income is treated differently depending on whether your furnished accommodation is classified (and/or labelled) or not. Contact your tax office for more information.
- Holiday vouchers: classification allows you to accept holiday vouchers, provided you have a SIRET number.

Labelling a furnished accommodation or guest room
Clévacances, Gîtes de France, hiking labels - the choice is wide. It's up to each owner to find the label that will provide them with the services they need: visibility, online marketing, engineering, etc. Below is a small but non-exhaustive selection.
