Owners of furnished tourist accommodation or guest rooms,
you are starting up your business: don't forget your regulatory obligations.

Declaration to the Town Hall

To rent out a furnished tourist accommodation or bed and breakfast, a declaration must be made to the Mairie before the property opens for business. To do this, please print out, complete and hand in one of the forms below:

Registering your business

Whether you are a professional or non-professional furnished lettings business, you must register with a business formalities centre.

If you are a non-professional furnished lettings business, you need to register with the clerk's office of the Commercial Court responsible for the property you are letting. You must register within 15 days of starting to rent out your property, using form P0i (Cerfa number 11921*07) available from the Direction générale des entreprises website.
This will enable you to :

  • obtain a SIRET number
  • publicise the existence of this activity,
  • indicate the tax regime you have chosen.

It should be noted that if you have more than one furnished letting, the registry of the Commercial Court with jurisdiction is the one where the letting generating the highest income is located.

The procedure is to be carried out online at the business formalities office.

Tourist tax

You are the owner of tourist accommodation (hotel, campsite, bed and breakfast, furnished tourist accommodation, etc.) that you wish to rent out for a fee for short periods. You are obliged to inform your customers of the tourist tax rates applicable in the Roi Morvan region, collect it and pay it to the Roi Morvan Communauté.
