What to do in Le Saint
Hiking and horse-riding
Le Saint is a land of hikes! Whether on foot or on horseback, you'll love them all!
Why not set off on horseback from Le Saint and ride to Guiscriff along the greenway?
Or try the Sainte-Barbe trail. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and follow the pretty paths to the superb Sainte-Barbe chapel in Le Faouët.
Are you more of a walker? Take the Minez Pempen loop. You'll see the church of Saint-Samuel, the Tremen fountain and a lovely sunken path. Enjoy the walk!

Fishing in the Ster-Laër river
The Ster-Laër, or "thieving river" in French, is the main tributary of the Ellé. It rises in the commune of Gourin, at the foot of the Montagnes Noires. It is also known as the Rivière de l'Inam. It is renowned for its diversity of wild brown trout! It's the ideal place for fishing enthusiasts, with all kinds of techniques available to attract fish. However, we recommend that you prefer fly fishing!
A reconstruction of the Grotto of Lourdes at Le Saint
When you came to Le Saint, you probably weren't expecting to find a reconstruction of the famous Grotte de Massabielle, also known as the Grotte de Lourdes. It was built in 1876, the year after the first pilgrimage from Vannes to Lourdes.
During the pardons, pilgrims gather under the foliage of the trees facing the grotto.
But do you know what a pardon is? It's a religious festival held in a fixed place on the same date every year to honour the local patron saint. Pardons are mostly found in Brittany. It's often an opportunity to dress up intraditional Breton clothes!

A surprising venue!
Le Saint may be nestled peacefully in the countryside of the Pays du Roi Morvan, but that doesn't mean there's nothing going on. On the contrary... Just a stone's throw from the town hall and school is an astonishing theatre: the Saint Pitô. When you step through the doors of this big top, you enter a magical world where the world of show business takes centre stage to give you a unique experience. Equestrian shows, plays and cabaret evenings are proof of the dynamism of this town, which doesn't want you to think that quality cultural activities are the preserve of the towns. So, let's go at a walk, a trot or a gallop!
