Le Faouët Museum

If the weather is too bad to go for a walk around the Sainte-Barbe chapel in Le Faouët, you can always admire it on canvases in the Museum'stemporary annual exhibition or permanent collection. It was such an inspiration to painters in the 19th century! In fact, everyday life in general was an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Take shelter in comfortable cinemas

Squeezing into the back of a cinema seat is a nice thing to do when it's raining.

Ask for the programme! At the Jeanne d'Arc cinema in Gourin, the Ellé cinema in Le Faouët or the Ciné Roch in Guémené-sur-Scorff, there's bound to be an interesting film, cartoon or documentary.

Strolling around the Château de Tronjoly in Gourin

The Tronjoly estate in Gourin consists of a château and a park. In other words, there's plenty to do!

Discover the exhibitions at the château

Every summer, an art exhibition brings together painters, sculptors and photographers in the rooms of the Château de Tronjoly. This is also an opportunity to discover the "Bretagne Transamerica" exhibition. It tells the amazing story of the people of Gourin who emigrated to North America at the end of the 19th century. You had to dare!

Wading through the alleys of the park

After visiting the exhibitions - and only afterwards, because you don't want to get everything in the château dirty - you can slip on some rubber boots and jump in the puddles in the park's pathways. Frankly, it's always fun!
