If there's one place in Le Faouët that's well known for a family outing on a Sunday afternoon, it's the Chapelle Sainte-Barbe. This incredible chapel built on a rocky escarpment, the Saint-Michel oratory, the caretaker's house... it's so beautiful! And it's even more beautiful at sunrise. It's magical at dawn! The rock glows with warm colours. The light plays hide and seek in the leaves of the tall trees. The immense sky gradually sets ablaze. It's like being in one of the paintings on display at the Musée du Faouët. It's hardly surprising that painters found all the inspiration they needed to create their masterpieces here.

Standing proudly at 297m, the calotte Saint-Joseph in La Trinité-Langonnet can lay claim to being the highest peak in Morbihan. It's reached by a short, steep path at the end of which you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view. What an atmosphere at sunrise on these moors where nothing can stop your gaze... The Montagnes Noires (Black Mountains ) are aptly named!

To reach the Calotte Saint-Joseph, go through the village of La Trinité-Langonnet and head towards Paule (D11). When you reach the village of Yun, park your car at the bottom of the path on your right. All that's left to do is climb the 400 m that separate you from this incredible sight!

The little Notre-Dame chapel stands on the Crénénan hill in Ploërdut. Its bell tower can be seen for miles around. As the horizon fades and the stars disappear, it stands out against a sky streaked with pink, orange and red lights... That's when the birds start to sing. You're witnessing a natural sound and light show! The simple silhouette of this chapel against a blazing sky is a breathtaking sight.
